Aromas del Peru Kendall was the first restaurant of a total of six that have opened in the state of Florida to bring, not only to the Peruvian residents of that city but also to all tourists, the authentic flavor of Peruvian gastronomy, a cuisine that has been recognized as one of the best in the world.
Aromas del Peru Kendall opened its kitchens to the public in 2003 by the hand of Marita Astete, a Peruvian who worked as a waitress for several years and knew how to take advantage of her experience and knowledge to expand the aromas and flavors of the gastronomy of the country, making Aromas del Peru Miami a reference in luxury restaurants to enjoy good Peruvian food.
Astete managed to merge with one of the best Peruvian chefs, José Luis Herrera, who has extensive experience in the best kitchens, not only in his country, but also in the United States; knowledge that has allowed him to incorporate new elements to the menu, respecting the Peruvian roots.

Aromas del Peru Kendall is undoubtedly an emblematic restaurant in this city and of the Aromas del Peru brand, since it started a harvest of success that has not stopped, and that allows residents and tourists of Miami to enjoy authentic Peruvian food. But if you have already had the opportunity to appreciate the flavors of the traditional food of our beloved country, it is time to unlock another level of Peruvian gastronomy.
Within our culinary culture there is one that is little known outside of Peru. Only those who live in that country have the opportunity to enjoy it every day. We are talking about chifa food.
Chifa is the result of the fusion between two millenary cuisines that took advantage of the best of both to obtain new dishes. It arrived in Peru in the 19th century, when the first Chinese immigrants brought their technique of stir-frying in a wok to take advantage of the leftover food from the previous day and make mixtures that were similar to the dishes they ate in their country of origin, but which incorporated new variations since they had to adapt to the ingredients they got in Peru.
This gave rise to a number of dishes that are now classics in this fusion cuisine, such as lomo saltado, chijaukay chicken, wantán soup, chaufa rice, tallarín saltado, chicharrón de pollo, among other dishes.
